This essay will be a comparison and contrast essay. You will choose two texts from the latter half of the course, and write an essay that answers one of the questions below:

Question 1: Choose a course concept we learned this year (Orientalism, eurocentrism, colonialism, trauma studies, etc.) and use it to compare two short stories.

Question 2: Make a comparison of the use of genre in two short stories (horror, sci fi, trauma literature, realism, satire, etc.).

Question 3: Compare the use and importance of gender/sexuality in two short stories (this can be about gender and/or heteronormativity).
