Confessions of a Recovering Environmentalist
Question 1: In Confessions of a Recovering Environmentalist and other essays, you say, We wont survive another thousand years without escaping our fragile planet. (Kingsnorth 33) You discuss how the human race has continued to take resources without any consequences and we are damaging the earth. My question is, Is there a way to fix the damage we have already done to the planet or can we do something to stop the damage we continue to do? You said, We are running low on inorganic elements and the earth cannot provide us with anymore. (Kingsnorth 34) I cant speak for other people but i think we are living a lifestyle that the planet can not keep up with. I try to live a simple life and do what I can to help the earth. My question is what do you think will happen when we run out of the non renewable resources that we use? Can we get them somewhere else? You said That if we keep living the way we are living, that the solution would be to make life on another planet. Is this your true opinion of a solution or was this sarcasm? I took it as sarcasm because people think the earth can keep giving and if it stops they can get it elsewhere. (add name): (reply here) need good answers. Book is provided.
