What is evidence? You are asked about the evidence. Evidence is not a conclusion. “An earthquake occurred ” is not evidence of an earthquake. Evidence is something you can see, feel, hear, touch, smell or measure that supports the conclusion. For an earthquake, evidence could be displaced or offset rock layers or fractured rocks along a fault zone. If could also be firsthand accounts of violent land shaking and the collapse of buildings during the shaking.
